The mission of the Louisiana Veterans Homes is to serve the Veterans' population of Louisiana by providing medical, restorative, and rehabilitative services in an atmosphere of respect and compassion. This position is located in the Nursing Department of the LA Veterans Home in Jackson, Louisiana.
This is a Full-Time Position that pays (CNA 1 Special Entrance Rate) $13.74 and (CNA 2 Special Entrance Rate) $14.70 hourly, plus shift differentials and a premium pay of $3.00 per hour worked.
Note: The maximum salary listed is the career maximum for this title/level, not the starting pay for new hires.
Vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Nursing Assistant 1/2 depending on experience. Refer to the ‘Job Specifications’ on the LA Careers website for salary ranges and qualifications for each level.
