Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the CFH Cardiac Medical Unit to deliver hands-on basic care and comfort to cardiac patients during their hospital stay.

You will work under the supervision of RNs and the unit director, providing direct patient support, assisting with activities of daily living, and helping maintain a safe, organized clinical environment during day shifts.

The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with day hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-high school specialized training preferred.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.
