Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the Cardiovascular Unit on the day shift in Leesburg, FL. You will assist with basic physical care, nursing procedures, and provide comfort and safety to patients during their hospital stay.

Under supervision of RNs and care team, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe patient environment and support high-quality care. A High School diploma or GED is required; a Florida CNA license is preferred and BLS certification is required.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and Registered Nurses (RNs), the Nursing Assistant supports patient care by assisting with basic physical care and nursing procedures, providing comfort measures, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.

Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals, you'll play an important role in supporting patient comfort, safety, and quality care throughout their hospital stay.
