Pay Info: $5,000 Sign-on Bonus, Relocation Reimbursement Available
40-hour work week. $5.00 differential offered on top of other differentials for working all shifts needed. Must be flexible for all shifts.
The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Must deliver age-appropriate care aligned with residents' physical and psychological needs as per care plans.
The NA is a member of the nursing team, expected to follow infection prevention and control policies, and use Personal Protective Equipment. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, recording vital signs, providing psychosocial support, and other personal care tasks. Assists residents with transferring, repositioning, walking, and range of motion exercises. Supports meal preparation and dining, ensuring a positive experience.
Supports providers and nursing staff with procedures, documents resident interactions and care outcomes, and communicates changes in resident condition. Collects non-invasive specimens, vital signs, and assists with housekeeping and laundry. Participates in wellness and recreational activities and may serve on committees as needed.
