Job summary

• Six months of general experience or one year of education above high school with related courses.
• Completion of occupation-related training meeting GS-3 criteria may apply under Grandfathering provisions.
• GS-4/GS-5 levels require demonstration of KSAs and progression in nursing care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing staff in care across preventive to hospice settings.
• Observe and document patient condition changes; refer deviations to supervisor.
• Perform basic nursing procedures within scope and policy; assist with activities of daily living.
