Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patients and care teams. You will perform basic patient care, assist with hygiene, mobility, and comfort, and help transport patients between departments.

No experience? Paid orientation and training provided. Vaccination requirements apply, with Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and annual flu vaccines or approved exemptions.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required; may vary by department.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Job Description

A Nursing Assistant's responsibilities may include:

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
• Complete personal hygiene
• Collecting specimens
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient

Qualifications

• Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
