Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Nursing Assistant to brighten patients' days, provide comfort through the night, and support clinical staff in delivering exceptional care to the local community.

No experience? Munson Medical Center offers comprehensive, paid orientation and training to help you succeed from day one.

All employees must be vaccinated or have approved immunity, and flu vaccination is required during the season, or an approved exemption.

Qualifications

• CPR certification must be obtained/maintained for adult maneuvers (child/infant may be required in some departments).
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs.
• Complete personal hygiene.
• Collecting specimens.
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise.
• Transporting patients between departments.
