Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated part-time Nursing Assistant for evening PM shifts. You will assist with basic patient care, personal hygiene, mobility, collecting specimens, and transporting patients between departments while observing and reporting vital signs to the care team.

No prior experience is required; paid orientation and training are provided. Vaccination against measles/mumps/rubella/varicella and flu vaccination are required or exemptions

Qualifications

• CPR certification for adult maneuvers where required.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Job Description

A Nursing Assistant's responsibilities may include:
Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs

Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times.
May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
