Responsibilities

• Meet residents' personal care needs and preferences
• Review and update care plans daily
• Notify Nurse Supervisor of any changes in resident condition
• Assist with daily activities, social programs, and transportation
• Create a warm, patient, and cheerful environment
• Prepare and maintain residents' rooms for comfort
• Participate in surveys by government agencies

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 10th-grade education
• Completion of Nursing Assistant training and in process of certification
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding)
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA
• Effective communication skills with team members
• Active CPR/BLS certification
