Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the guidance of a Staff RN. You will provide personal care, assist with procedures, and help maintain accurate intake/output records while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (STNA preferred) and CPR within six months. Ability to lift 50-100 lbs occasionally and 25-50 lbs frequently is needed; candidate experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• STNA preferred.
• CPR within first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care as directed by RN.
• Collect, document, and report vital signs (temp, BP, pulse, height/weight).
• Assist with pre-, intra-, and post-operative care.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain supplies and report equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
