Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our Philadelphia hospital workforce. You will support RNs by performing patient care tasks delegated to unlicensed staff and assist in maintaining a safe, compassionate environment.

This full-time night-flex role requires a high school diploma, completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program, or current nursing student with clinical rotation, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Nursing Assistant Program completion or nursing student with clinical rotation required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1 year experience as Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN with patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Adhere to the hospital's Customer Service program and report to the Nurse Manager.

• Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

• 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
