The Louisiana Veterans Home in Jackson, LA, seeks caring Certified Nursing Assistants for CNA 1/2 levels. This full-time position blends clinical excellence with compassionate care for veterans, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on alternating weekends.

Salary starts at CNA1 $13.74/hr and CNA2 $14.70/hr, plus a $3.00/hr shift differential. Applicants need six months of patient-care experience or a current CNA certificate; RN/PN/MA/EMT training also qualifies.

Minimum Qualifications

Position-Specific Details

Appointment Type: Full-Time Position Probational

Career Progression: As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Nursing Assistant 1 or 2 depending on the level of experience

Work Schedule: Work hours are 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM / 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Alternate weekends.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

CNA 1 Special Entrance Rate $13.74 hourly (base pay).

CNA 2 Special Entrance Rate $14.70 hourly (base pay),

• Plus shifts differentials and premium pay of $3.00 per hour worked.
