Job summary

Minimum Qualifications

Position-Specific Details:

• Appointment Type: Probationary
• Location: This position is located in the Nursing Department of the LA Veterans Home in Jackson, Louisiana.
• Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and may be filled as an LPN 1/2/3. The level at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. This position provides the opportunity to advance within this job series.
• Work Schedule: This is a 12-hour shift with a rotating weekend position. 6:00 am to 6:30 pm Day Shift and 6:00 pm to 6:30 am Night Shift

Compensation

• This position offers a Premium Pay of $7.00 per hour worked, plus the following Special Entrance Rates:
• LPN 1: $19.48/hour;
• LPN 2: $20.84/hour;
• LPN 3: $22.30/hour
