Description

GENERAL FUNCTION: The position involves providing overall support to the Nursing team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

  1. Review psychotropic medication consents against MARs weekly to ensure they match. Flag discrepancies, create new consent forms for the Home Manager to sign, and update the supported person’s name on the HRC list.
  2. Create information packets for Med Consent Review meetings.
  3. Collaborate with program managers on any recommended trainings from COS meetings.
  4. Receive medications from the pharmacy, check them in, and ensure their security in the designated location. Contact Home Managers for medication pickup.
  5. Input and track medication variances, and submit reports to the Director of Quality by the 10th of the following month.
  6. Maintain Stericycle preparation and coordinate pickups.
  7. Complete all filing tasks.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
  9. Upload consults to Therap.
  10. Schedule follow-up appointments and distribute all relevant information.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
  1. Exhibit behaviors and practices aligned with the vision and values of SSTN.
  2. Practice safe work habits to eliminate hazards and attend all scheduled safety training.
  3. Work as part of the team to ensure adherence to SSTN Quality Management principles (Plan, Measure, Assess, Improve).
  4. Operate SSTN and personal transportation safely and responsibly.
  5. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by authorized staff.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 21 years or older, able to read and write effectively, with experience in the medical field. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient typing skills. Practical knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. Current First Aid, CPR, and medication administration certifications.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES:

  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification
  • Valid Medication Administration Certification

  • Valid automobile insurance, maintained throughout employment.
