Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the direction of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses in a Hillsboro, OH setting. You will follow established policies to meet the needs of the patient population served.

Required enrollment in or completion of a Nursing Assistant program, plus at least one semester of medical/surgical clinical experience; or one year of prior nursing assistant experience. High School or GED completion is also required.

Qualifications

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care under the direction of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses through the nursing process according to the established policies, procedures, and guidelines of the department and hospital. Has knowledge of assigned tasks and equipment necessary to meet the specific needs of the patient population served.

Education – Required

Currently enrolled in or completion of a formal nursing assistant program; currently enrolled in a student nurse program (applicant must have one semester medical/surgical clinical experience); or at least (1) one year of previous clinical experience demonstrating competency in Nursing Assistant duties. Actively enrolled in or completion of High School or GED.

Education – Preferred

Certification as a Nursing Assistant
