Nursing Assistants at this grade level function as members of the nursing care team, assisting licensed nursing staff in caring for patients receiving preventative, acute, subacute, chronic, maintenance, and hospice care. They typically handle more complex nursing needs, which can vary from predictable to unpredictable, and also take on peer education and mentorship roles.
All duties are performed under close supervision with appropriate training and competencies, including:
Full-Time, 8/12 hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility to work other units or clinics as needed.
