Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate patient care for a diverse group of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will support activities of daily living, assist with ambulation, and help ensure comfort and safety on the night shift.

Prior CNA training or experience is preferred, with documentation of care and proficiency in using medical records software. BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire.

This individual provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other patient care team members including the patient and family, to achieve optimal patient outcomes. All care is provided under the direction and supervision of a registered or licensed nurse. The Nursing Assistant assists with activities of daily living and delegated patient care treatments and procedures. Is responsible to assist with ambulation of patients, turning patients and promoting comfort.* Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.* Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms and understand printed health related material.* One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.* Computer experience preferred.
