Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate patient care for a diverse group of medical and surgical patients. Under the supervision of a nurse, you will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and documenting care in medical records.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. BLS certification or completion within 3 months of hire is expected; a Nursing Assistant program

Qualificações

• Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms.
• One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.
• Computer experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• High school level knowledge.

Location:Samaritan Medical CenterDepartment:01.6339 SMC PCU.Pay Range:17.97 - 22.92Care for our community, and your career.The Nursing Assistant provides compassionate patient care to a diverse age group of patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical conditions. This individual provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other patient care team members including the patient and family, to achieve optimal patient outcomes. All care is provided under the direction and supervision of a registered or licensed nurse. The Nursing Assistant assists with activities of daily living and delegated patient care treatments and procedures. Is responsible to assist with ambulation of patients, turning patients and promoting comfort.Previous experience or graduated from a Nursing Assistant program preferred.Ability to document on medical records and patient care forms and understand printed health related material.One year or more experience as a Nurse Assistant preferable.Computer experience preferred.
