Job summary

Catholic Health in Bethpage, NY is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

You will assist in data collection, provide care, document accurately, and participate in timely treatments and procedures while upholding the Patient's Bill of Rights.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CNA training, BLS certification, and strong computer literacy; ED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA or nursing program enrollment with clinical rotation is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• Computer-literate and able to read and write English.
• Current ED experience is preferred.

• Must have successful completion of a duly authorized CNA Training Program OR is a student enrolled in a nursing program who has completed fundamentals of nursing including clinical rotation OR relevant work experience, including nursing assistant and/or personal care aide.
• BLS from American Heart Association required.
• Current ED experience is preferred.

Must be computer-literate. Must be able to read and write basic English.

Salary Range

USD $25.59 - USD $25.59 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
