Saint Elizabeth Community is seeking Nursing Aide for Assisted Living in East Greenwich, RI. This role offers either full-time or part-time hours with day, evening, or night shifts and every-other-weekend opportunities.

Pay ranges from $19.44 to $23.64 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and a strong mission of dignified, compassionate care. Responsibilities include vital signs, ADL support, documentation, and maintaining a safe environment for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of state approved nursing assistant training program with registry entry.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs, height and weight accurately.
• Monitor weight, intake/outtake and report changes.
• Maintain clean, safe resident environment.
• Perform ADL assistance and basic care tasks.
• Document care timely and accurately.

Responsibilities Of a Nursing Aide - Assisted Living

• Accurately perform and record vital signs, height and weight.
• Accurately calculate and record weight gain/loss and fluid intake/output.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
• Perform palliative and post-mortem care.
• Perform routine well-being rounds on each assigned resident.
• Supervise, assist or provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Provide preventative skin care techniques, observe the resident's skin condition and report any changes to a licensed nurse.
• Utilize proper techniques and devices to transfer and position/re-position a resident.
• Provide timely, accurate and complete documentation and communication.

Qualifications For a Nursing Aide - Assisted Living

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or three-six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within 120 days of employment; name entered into state nurse aide registry.
