Job summary

The Addison of St. Johns, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to provide compassionate care to residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings in the Jacksonville area.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, and social activities while ensuring dignity and safety. Eligible for benefits including insurance and retirement, with on-site training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed.
• Assist with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
