Job summary

The Addison of Port Orange in Port Orange, FL, is seeking a Nursing Aide to assist residents with daily living activities and care in an assisted living and memory care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living and monitoring residents' needs.
• Escorts residents within the building and outdoors as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleanup.
• May help plan and execute activities for residents on a regular basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times
