The Addison of Port Orange is a Sonida Senior Living community located in Port Orange, FL. We are seeking an LPN/LVN to oversee nursing assistants, administer medications, and ensure high-quality care for residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care setting.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of nursing experience and must hold an active LPN/LVN license. We offer competitive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in an assisted living or similar setting.
• Must hold an LPN/LVN license and maintain current licensure.
• Ability to administer medications per physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required
