TheMontana Department of Corrections (DOC)is creating a safer Montana through Accountability, Rehabilitation and Empowerment. If you want to work making positive changes in your community, the Montana Department of Corrections is the place for you!

The Rehabilitation and Enterprises Division plays a critical role in Montana’s correctional system — supporting the physical and mental well‑being of inmates, providing education and job‑readiness programs, guiding community reintegration, and offering trauma‑informed services to victims. This is work with purpose, and we’re looking for people who are ready to make a difference.

As a Nursing Aide in our 24/7 Infirmary Unit, you’ll be at the heart of clinical care inside a secure facility. The unit features 13 inpatient beds and supports more than 1,400 inmates, offering a uniquely dynamic and meaningful healthcare environment. In this role you will:

Deliver hands‑on patient care and support medical case management across the facility.

Perform medical screenings, triage, daily sick call, medication administration, and chronic care support.

Provide education, counseling, and assistance with daily living activities.

Maintain safety and security within a structured, team‑oriented environment.

Help stabilize and support inmates so they can successfully reintegrate into the general population or the community.
