Job summary

The Waterford at College Station, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Nursing Aide to help residents with daily living activities and care needs in a warm, supportive setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with medications, escorting residents, helping with meals, and supporting activities while maintaining dignity and respect for all residents. High school diploma or GED preferred; prior nursing/senior living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prefer experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and medication assistance.
• Escort residents within the building and outside when needed.
• Assist with meal setup, serving, and cleanup.
• Help plan and participate in activities for residents.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities include:

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
