Job summary

Position Summary

A Registered Professional Nurse who assists in the planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating Nursing Services. Responsible for the administrative operation of the Department of Nursing for a specific, assigned tour. The Nursing Supervisor on tour acts as a surrogate if the Hospital or Nursing Administrator is not present, limited to those circumstances which are specifically not delegated to the Administrator‑on‑Call and/or the Nursing Administrator on call.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Current licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in New York State
• BCLS/ACLS required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master’s degree preferred
• Five years of combined clinical and management experience
• Previous Nursing Supervisor experience preferred
