Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a highly organized administrative staff member to support Nursing Services. This role maintains department records, coordinates communications, and assists with staffing and policy administration to ensure seamless patient care.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will compile statistics, liaise with multiple departments, and handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from or attended a business college or secretarial school.
• No experience required; however, 1–2 years of experience in healthcare and/or office practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department files, inter-office memorandums, correspondence, policy and procedure manuals.
• Prepares statistical information for service areas under the guidance of the Director of Nursing.
• Serves as a liaison between departments outside the scope of Nursing Services.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
