Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing required; MSN, DNP or PhD in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in instruction or formalized education process at a post-secondary level preferred.
• Active, valid, and unencumbered state licensure or certification as applicable to the discipline.
• At least six months of teaching experience at South University or another post-secondary education institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course outcomes in the curriculum.
• Provide education through learning-centred instruction enabling graduates to fulfill marketplace needs.
• Design and deliver instruction with instructional plans to meet course outcomes and online course shells.
• Utilize technology in the classroom to support student learning and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records, submit grades on time, and enforce policies consistent with the institution.
