Job summary

Palm Beach State College seeks an adjunct biology instructor to teach in accordance with approved curricula and educational theories. Responsibilities include developing related curricula, assessing learning outcomes, and participating in program evaluation and college activities.

Responsibilities cover administering schedules, reviews, and program/course needs, with flexible work hours based on teaching assignments. Strong knowledge of Canvas LMS and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biology or 18 graduate hours in Biology.
• Master’s degree in Anatomy & Physiology or 18 graduate hours in Anatomy & Physiology or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and implements administrative procedures and practices.
• Maintains manuals and policies relevant to the College.
• Assists with program and course scheduling and reviews.
• Supports student and curriculum reviews and articulation activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
