Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required or Doctoral in Nursing.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in the concentration taught (Medical-Surgical, Maternal Child, Pediatrics, Mental Health).
• Must meet LSBN faculty qualifications and hold/maintain RN license in Louisiana or Compact State.

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide direct instructional activities using evidence-based resources.
• Maintain office hours and timely record-keeping; professionally represent SOWELA in clinical settings.
• Promote professional development and participate in conferences, workshops, and professional organizations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback and fair grading.
