Job summary

Weatherford College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program to join a pool of qualified instructors for the academic year.

The position requires an MSN or doctorally-prepared nursing faculty candidate, Texas RN licensure, and demonstrated teaching ability across traditional, hybrid, and online modalities; responsibilities include course instruction, student mentoring, and timely assessment and feedback.

Qualifications

• Hold a Master’s degree or doctorate in nursing or the teaching discipline.
• If the Master’s or doctorate is not in nursing, hold a BSN and the required graduate hours in nursing.
• Current RN license/privilege to practice in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the approved ADN program across traditional, hybrid, online/Zoom, or dual credit formats.
• Provide instruction to facilitate learning outcomes and mentor students.
• Maintain an effective learning environment and adhere to college policies.
