Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks an adjunct nursing instructor to provide effective instruction and assessment within established syllabi. The position supports student learning, maintains attendance and grading records, and adapts to the needs of diverse learners.
The role requires an Indiana RN license and a master's degree or higher; a nursing master's may be preferred. This is a temporary, part-time teaching opportunity within the School.
General Purpose and Scope of the position: Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the School.
Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction, faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 as applicable to the specific area of instruction. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse Possesses a current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license and Possesses an earned master's or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution. (A master's degree in nursing is preferred).
