Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related graduate degree; DNP preferred.
• Active California RN and NP license in good standing.
• National Family Nurse Practitioner certification (AANPCB or ANCC) with 2+ years in family practice/primary care.
• At least one academic year of graduate nursing teaching experience.
• Experience with course management systems and virtual learning environments.
• Commitment to Christian faith and the University's mission.
• Ability to collaborate with students, staff and faculty in a collegial setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as described and assigned in graduate nursing programs.
• Discuss class progress with the program coordinator, including teaching performance through observation.
• Collaborate with other faculty as needed.
• Demonstrate commitment to serving and inspiring students in a Christian learning context.
