Major Areas of responsibilities include (not limitedto):

Teaching (Theory)
  • Prepares and conducts effective classroom/hybrid/onlinelearning activities congruent with the course objectives

  • Plans learning experiences that are appropriate to the level ofthe student

  • Organizes and maintains the Canvas course

  • Responds to student electronic and telephone communicationswithin 48 hours

  • Prepares and reviews written examinations, papers, and studentprojects and evaluates learner performance in the classroom

  • Meets with students as requested outside of class to providelearning support

  • Submits attendance at the start of course

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • RN License or NP License may be required dependent upon coursecontent

  • Masters in Nursing, or related field is required

  • Demonstrated current competence in theory area

  • Effective leadership and communication skills

  • Past experience in teaching online preferred

Pay Range:

Pay Range for Faculty Based on teaching assignment, a reasonableestimate for this position is between $600 - $8000.

Individual compensation will ultimately bedetermined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-notlimited to qualifications, geographic location, and other relevantskills.
