Job summary

Job description

Summary of Position

This is a course-by-course, part time position responsible for instruction of pre-licensure Nursing students in the clinical setting. The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of pre-licensure students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Supervise and instruct prelicensure students in clinical environment
  • Deliver instructional material in alignment with course objectives and student outcomes
  • Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote student learning
  • Evaluate and document student progress and provide relevant and timely feedback to students
Requirements
  • Candidates must meet one of the following conditions: Master’s degree in Nursing, BS in Nursing, currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program, BS in Nursing with extensive relevant experience.
  • Experience: At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in the specialty which you are applying for.
  • Licensure: Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in working with college age and non-traditional students.
  • Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment.

Compensation Pay Range: $5,000.00-$7,500 per course
