Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne operates a 100-bed residential facility offering detox and inpatient rehabilitation. We are seeking nurses for the night shift (6pm–6am) to deliver quality medical care, manage medications, and support coordinated care across teams.

Ideal candidates hold RN or LPN licensure, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate compassion and attention to detail in fast-paced environments. Join a mission-driven team dedicated to recovery and patient education.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.

What You'll Do
