Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring registered nurses and licensed practical nurses for day, night, and weekend shifts. You will provide quality medical care through admission, treatment and discharge, coordinate pharmacy needs, and maintain accurate med logs while collaborating with medical teams.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and a compassionate recovery-focused attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN licensure to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multi-state privileges.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
