ACCfamily is expanding to Charlottesville in Spring 2025, bringing our trusted, family-owned approach to home care. We are seeking compassionate nurses aides to join our growing team in Charlottesville, offering flexible schedules, including live-in care, full-time and part-time shifts with weekday and weekend options.

Our supportive care team works closely with you to match you with cases that fit your schedule and skill set, ensuring the best experience for both you and the client.

Qualifications

• Compassionate caregiver with ability to build relationships.
• Experience in home health or CNA preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by an RN.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions.
• Addresses psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions.
• Develops cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Responds promptly to patient needs and safety concerns.

Job Summary: The Nurse Aide assists with basic patient care activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions ff.
• Provides for patients psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions.
• Develops & maintains cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and other staff
• Responds to patient needs and responds to patient safety concerns promptly
• Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Home Health Aides, Nurses’ Aides and Certified Nurse Aides. Companions with no certifications must have at least 2 years’ experience

Education & Experience:

• HS or Equivalent
• Previous experience as a CNA is preferred
