Qualifications

• A positive, flexible, self-starting attitude with strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

• The ability to bend and lift loads up to 50 pounds and move equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding plants, amendments, services, and advice.
• Restock, organize, tag, and move merchandise efficiently and in an organized manner.
• Maintain availability to cover critical zones and support front-end during busy periods.
• Support Front-End team during backups at cash registers and encourage loyalty program enrollment.
• Follow weekly schedules and side work checklists.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a member of the Nursery Yard team at Mulhalls Garden + Home, you will report to the Nursery Yard Manager. You will assist our customers in finding all the plants, amendments, services, and advice they might need to beautify their homes and communities. Other tasks will include restocking, organizing, tagging, and moving merchandise efficiently and in an organized manner — all in line with our vision to be the most loved plant shop in the country.

YOUR IMPACT

• Model our Customer Journey: The 15:5 Rule, Be the Guide, Keep It Seamless, Forget-Me-Nots, and Close the Deal
• Own our Evergreen Guarantee™, the 100% customer satisfaction promise at the heart of our customer experience
• Support our Front-End team during backups at the cash registers by executing merchandise purchases, returns, exchanges, and encouraging customers to enroll in our loyalty program and advocate for our Community Round-Up partner
• Complete tasks and responsibilities, consistently referring to your weekly schedule, daily zone schedule, and side work checklists
• Fulfill the needs of the department by maintaining the availability necessary to cover all critical zones
