Job summary

Mulhall's Garden + Home in Omaha is seeking an energetic Nursery Yard team member who loves plants and helping customers. You will assist shoppers in finding plants, amendments, services, and advice to beautify homes and communities, and you’ll restock and organize merchandise to keep the floor inviting.

You’ll support the Front-End Team during busy times at the registers, encourage loyalty program sign-ups, and follow your weekly schedule and side work checklists to keep our garden shop running

Qualifications

• Strong customer focus and ability to engage with customers in a garden retailer setting.
• Positive, flexible, self-starting attitude with attention to detail.
• Commitment to consistent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds and move plant stock as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find plants, amendments, services, and advice to beautify homes and communities.
• Restock, organize, tag, and move merchandise efficiently and in an organized manner.
• Support Front-End Team during busy periods at the cash registers.
• Encourage customers to enroll in the loyalty program and support Community Round-Up partner.
• Follow weekly schedules, daily zone schedules, and side work checklists.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a member of the Nursery Yard team at Mulhalls Garden + Home, you'll report to the Nursery Yard Manager. You will assist our customers in finding all the plants, amendments, services, and advice they might need to beautify their homes and communities. Other tasks will include restocking, organizing, tagging, and moving merchandise efficiently and in an organized manner — all in line with our vision to be the most loved plant shop in the country.

Fulfill the needs of the department by maintaining the availability necessary to cover all critical zones
