Tree Pittsburgh is seeking a Nursery Production Coordinator to join the Heritage Nursery team. The NPC will implement propagation, care, and maintenance of nursery-grown plant material under the Nursery Director’s supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating spring planting and transplanting, developing and executing the Integrated Pest Management plan, and leading volunteers at events. The role also supports nursery operations including moving trees, watering, weeding, winterization,

Job description

Tree Pittsburgh is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the Heritage Nursery team as the Nursery Production Coordinator.

Under the supervision of the Nursery Director, the Nursery Production Coordinator (NPC) will implement the propagation, care, and maintenance of nursery‑grown plant material and lead volunteers to support nursery production.

The NPC will coordinate and implement the spring planting and transplanting schedule, develop and implement the nursery’s Integrated Pest Management plan, and coordinate and lead volunteer events. The NPC will also provide support across the nursery, including moving trees, watering, weeding, winterization, order fulfilment, nursery administration, and participating in retail sales.
