Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council's Closeburn Primary Nursery is seeking a Nursery Nurse to support children aged 2-5 in a nurturing indoor/outdoor environment. You will contribute to learning activities, monitor pupil progress and work closely with staff and families.

You must hold a qualification enabling SSSC registration as Practitioner in Day Care of Children’s Services, be prepared for PVG checks, and commit to working within the council’s safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Qualified to register with SSSC as Practitioner in Day Care of Children's Services.
• Ability to participate in development of the nursery curriculum.
• Willingness to work collegiately with school staff and families.
