What You Can Expect:Collaborative Care Environment: Provide pediatric care in a Level I nursery alongside a highly skilled team of OB/GYNs, nurses, and pediatric nurse practitioners.

? Responsibilities:Provide pediatric coverage for the Level I nursery at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital
Attend deliveries and perform newborn assessments
Collaborate with OB and nursing teams to ensure optimal newborn outcomes
Support and supervise pediatric nurse practitioners and allied health professionals
Contribute to quality and safety initiatives, ensuring family-centered care
Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active NYS medical license (or ability to obtain)
Experience in newborn nursery care and delivery attendance required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

$150,000.00 – $200,000.00
The listed base pay range represents a good faith estimate for a full-time applicant. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, specialty, location, and other factors. Additional pay components may also apply.
