Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Nursery Attendant to supervise children from 8 weeks to 14 years at Carilion Wellness facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, enforcing policies, and maintaining a clean nursery environment.

Qualifications

• High school education (minimum 2 years).
• Work permit required if under 18 years of age.
• Experience: none.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification is required (adult and infant/child).

Responsibilities

• Supervise children in the nursery, playland, and youth areas.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times.
• Enforce the child sick policy and other policies while utilizing the nursery.
• Maintain nursery bathroom neat and clean.
• Watch the children and their activities at all times.
• Contact parent if child's diaper needs to be changed.
• Ensure safety with the toys, books, etc.
• Keep nursery neat and clean.
