• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate with DON/ADON and provide required reports.
• Develop, maintain, and update Nursing Service procedures manual.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Assist in planning the nursing services portion of discharge plans.
• Attend and contribute to committee meetings (Infection Control, QA, etc.).
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure adequate RNs/LPNs and CNAs are on duty.
• Oversee training and development of nursing staff; participate in in‑service programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long‑term care.
