Job summary

The Sheridan at Park Ridge by Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Manager Nurse to provide direct nursing care and supervise CNAs and HHAs in a supportive, patient-centered environment. The role emphasizes safe, therapeutic care and leadership over the nursing unit.

You will oversee care delivery, medication administration, and documentation, ensuring adherence to policy and physician directives while supporting residents and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Nursing; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Area of Study: Nursing.
• Years of Experience: 1+ years.
• Type of Experience: Nursing experience in a health care facility.
• Special Certifications: LPN/LVN or RN license with current, active LOP license in the state of the community facility.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties.
• Skills and Ability: Proficiency in clinical techniques and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to residents based on established protocols.
• Observe and assess pain, oxygen therapy, drainage, dressings, and continence.
• Assess resident needs to develop and adjust care plans.
• Transcribe and coordinate medical orders, integrate into care plan.
• Ensure medication administration is correct per policies.
• Document accurately in MOR and resident records.
• Supervise nursing team assignments and communicate instructions.
