Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RN leadership experience is required.
• Valid State of Florida RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the nursing unit and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed per policy and is on-call as required.
• Collaborates with Nurse Leaders to set goals and monitor standards of practice.
• Reports issues promptly and informs leadership of staffing and safety risks.
• Develops roles and supports talent development within the unit.
• Identifies and retains high-potential staff through delegation and training.
• Encourages staff to advance through professional development programs.
• Monitors productivity and strives to meet financial targets.
