Job summary

Domnovate is sourcing a Registered Nurse Unit Manager for a local Scarborough, Maine contract. You will lead a 40-bed long-term care and skilled nursing unit, coordinate the nursing team, and ensure resident-centered care.

You must hold a Maine RN license or eligible compact, have leadership experience in long-term care, and maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team. Work days are Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, on-site with a W-2 arrangement via Ascen Workforce LLC.

Qualifications

• Current Maine RN licensure or compact privilege with authority to practice.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with leadership qualifications in long-term care.
• Sound clinical judgment, clear communication and dependable documentation.
• Ability to meet client screening, credential and health requirements including vaccination exemptions.
• Required government photo ID badge for facility access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care on the assigned unit.
• Support clinical priorities, care planning, documentation, and timely communication with providers and the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor quality and safety, guide staff within RN scope, maintain reliable daily care workflow.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership on professional practice and resident/family communication.
