Job summary

The Avenue at Strongsville in Strongsville, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing team in a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. This full-time role oversees daily operations and ensures exceptional resident care and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, promoting collaboration and open communication
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction
• Conduct nursing assessments, develop care plans, and oversee implementation of care strategies
• Collaborate with therapy, social services, and dietary to ensure seamless care delivery
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
• Conduct rounds, monitor patient progress, and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulations
• Foster relationships with family members, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Work with Executive Director, Director of Nursing, and other leaders to achieve facility goals
