Role

Role: This position involves providing direct patient care within a busy Level I Trauma Center, caring for patients with complex injuries such as motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, traumatic amputations, falls, spinal cord, and brain injuries. Nurses develop specialized expertise on combined Trauma, Geriatric Trauma, and Acute Care Surgery units with a focus on trauma and post-surgical care.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, assessing physical and psychosocial needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient responses, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Participation in professional development and team collaboration is essential.
